"Just Hiko-chan, okay?" Bouma Yahiko is 12, muscular and ridiculously competent. Boosted up into the year above him for year after year has finally landed him in high school where he settles into a comfortable routine of joining as many school clubs as possible. He's not bothered by his youth or his height and deep down he's a big gooey sweetheart, not nearly as mature as he seems.
Family and Relationships
Mother: Bouma Mitsuko: 35, professional wrestler. Mitsuko is very loving to her children, almost smotheringly so, literally when she gives hugs, but this love is punctuated by her rather extreme methods of discipline, often involving several painful holds while she's doing the lecturing. Tall and beautiful with a voluptuous yet strong figure, in the ring she's known as The Magnificent Nemophila for her black hair and flower themed special moves. At home she seems to counter this image with intensity, wearing the most generic housewife dresses and jeans she can, usually with an apron on even when she's not cooking. Yahiko is sure she's the prettiest and coolest woman in the world. He often greets her with a kiss and hug hello, and then she promises they'll spar later.
Father: Bouma Ichiro: 37, computer programmer. If both he and Mitsuko hadn't been in intimate positions to know better then Ichiro could swear that none of his children really are his. A slight man of below average height, myopic and rather meek, it seems like there couldn't be a worse match for the dynamic Mitsuko, but it's obvious how much they still love each other even after almost 15 years of marriage. He tends to spoil his children, leaving the discipline to his wife. Yahiko always greets him with a kiss to the cheek and a hug that lifts him off the ground, much to his amusement/chagrin.
Older Brother: Bouma Mitsuomi: 14, High School Student. Yahiko's older brother doesn't have much jealousy that Hiko is better than him at mostly everything because he can still throw his little brother 2 houses over when they play around and spar in the back yard. Where Yahiko likes to make sure he's well rounded, Mitsu has focused on martial arts, especially boxing and Muay Thai, to the exclusion of most everything else, much to his father's frustration. He has his heart set on being a prizefighter as he grows up and works out enough to put even Yahiko and his mother to shame, his high metabolism keeping him in prime battle condition!. Mitsu and Hiko often greet each other with a brotherly fistbop.
Younger Sister: Bouma Nanae: 10, Elementary School Student. Nanae is, quite frankly, a mad scientist in training. Apparently having inherited her father's expertise with computers. from an early age she's been tinkering and toying with things, taking them apart, putting them back together with increased efficiency somehow and all without making a big fuss about it. She's the most withdrawn of the family, preferring to be alone or with girls her age. She's convinced her older brothers have cooties. She's currently researching a countermeasure. Hiko tends to give her a respectful berth, patting her head occasionally.
Younger brother: Bouma Shin: 1, baby. Shin is a Perfectly Normal Baby of the genus Cutus Babbleyus. He toddles about the house all day and is usually watched by either Yahiko, Mitsuomi or their mother. If he has any of the rest of the Bouma family's oddness he has yet to display it.
