- Managed to make it to lunch before some group of nutjob bosozoku kicked in the door and started trying to raise hell. I wound up having to henshin and fight all of them, with some help from my classmates. Good job, Boy-kun and Akiyama-san. Everyday heroes right here in our midsts, folks.

I'm just trying to do my job as president of the disciplinary committee, and this group of second years not only gives me crap when I tell them not to clog the hall after the school meeting, but one of them steals my armband. I don't know which one, but I know which class. And trust me, they're all getting detention together for it.

- It's been a busy couple of days, but I'm ready for school to start. This is gonna be an interesting year. As long-term fans know, Kenshiro Hayabusa's one of the reasons I even got into this line of work, and going to a school named for him seems kind of fitting. Who knows, maybe I'll join a sports team? I can worry about it later. I'm gonna read and then go to bed. Hope everyone has a good first day.

- Wound up going to a friendly game between the Antlers and the S-Pulse with Yasu-kun (TrinityInGold) and Kenji. 2-2, with Antlers getting the golden goal. I think we're trying to get all the summer we can into these last couple of days before the school year starts. Going to go out for Vietnamese food after this. Know any good Vietnamese places around here, fans?

- Wound up working with Rei (EmeraldGhost) on a battle today. Phantom Blade Jango was out, and I don't think he liked the taste of that new kick. Really feels weird having a kick attack after all the years; guess I've moved up in the world. After the fight, Rei totally blew me off with some line about being busy tomorrow. Man, would it kill her to be nice to me occasionally? Whatever. Bros before hos, as they say in America.

- Back from the doctor's office. He told me the usual stuff about my body and the strain of the powers and all the usual crap. Whatever, Mr. Doctor. I've got a world to save, you can worry about your patient success rate on your own time.

- Doctor's appointment bright and early tomorrow. Such a pain in the ass, but hey, I'd rather them be a pain in the ass now and again than try working in this industry without them. Not sure what he's going to tell me beyond the usual, but hey. He's got his job, I've got mine.

- Checking out this new ramen shop with Emi (VioletViolence) and Kenji (BlazingShredder). Great flavor, no gimmicks, old-fashioned shop run by a grandmother and her grand daughter. Ramen comes in "family recipe" or "get out of my shop" varieties. I really like it; scan the QR on my blog for shots of us eating there and directions.

- New belt, new school, new contractually-obligated blog. Not that I mind keeping my fans out there aware of what's going on in my life. This is my last year in high school, and I'm hoping to make it the best one. Even a guy like me has to work to get into a good university.
